Cookie Policy

WorkSource Global, Inc. Version 2026-06-26.

Effective June 26, 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains how WorkSource Global, Inc. and the WorkSource platform use cookies and similar technologies in connection with the WorkSource website, account experience, marketplace workflows, analytics, security, payments, and verification services. It is intended to be read together with the WorkSource Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Overview

WorkSource may use cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, device identifiers, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the platform, secure user accounts, measure performance, remember preferences, support payments, and improve the marketplace experience.

Because WorkSource is a verified hiring marketplace, certain technologies may be used to protect against fraud, unauthorized access, duplicate accounts, abuse, and other conduct that could compromise the integrity of the platform.

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device when a person visits a website or uses an online service. Similar technologies may collect or store information through browser storage, pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers, or server-side logging.

These technologies may collect information such as browser type, device type, IP address, approximate location, referring pages, pages viewed, buttons clicked, session identifiers, sign-up flow progress, error messages, timestamps, and other interaction data.

3. Categories of Technologies Used

Strictly Necessary. Required to operate the website and platform, authenticate users, maintain sessions, enable security, and prevent fraud. These technologies cannot be switched off through the Platform.

Functional. Remember preferences and support workflow continuity and convenience features.

Performance and Analytics. Help WorkSource understand traffic, sign-up funnel performance, feature usage, and product quality.

Security and Integrity. Support fraud prevention, duplicate-account detection, abuse prevention, and investigation of suspicious activity.

4. Current Implementation Status

WorkSource is launching this summer, beginning in Charlotte, North Carolina. Identity and business verification are live in-app through a trusted, secure third-party provider. The final cookie stack, analytics tools, consent-management configuration, and remaining third-party integrations will be confirmed and reflected in the production version of this policy.

6. Third-Party Providers

WorkSource may permit third-party service providers to use cookies or similar technologies when they provide services on WorkSource's behalf, including hosting, security, analytics, payments, text/SMS communications, customer support, identity and business verification, fraud prevention, and background-check workflows.

Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy and cookie policies, subject to WorkSource's vendor agreements, platform configuration, and applicable law. WorkSource does not sell sensitive identity-verification data or payment card data through cookie-based advertising technologies.

7. Cookie Choices and Controls

Users may be able to manage cookies through browser settings, device settings, platform preference tools, or a cookie-consent banner if required based on the final website configuration and applicable law.

Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website or platform from functioning properly. Disabling analytics, functional, or advertising cookies may affect personalization, measurement, attribution, and certain convenience features, but should not prevent access to core account functionality unless the cookie is required for security or platform operation.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls

Some browsers or devices may transmit Do Not Track signals or similar preference signals. WorkSource will evaluate and configure its response to legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including global privacy control mechanisms where required by applicable law.

For users in states with applicable privacy laws, WorkSource does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If WorkSource engages in any activity that constitutes a sale or sharing under applicable law, it will provide the required notice and an opt-out and will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required.

9. Retention

Cookie and similar technology retention periods vary based on the type of technology and its purpose. Session cookies generally expire when a browser session ends. Persistent cookies, local storage, analytics identifiers, security records, and consent logs may remain for longer periods where necessary to operate the platform, honor preferences, prevent fraud, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

10. Relationship to Privacy Policy

Information collected through cookies and similar technologies may be considered personal information under applicable privacy laws. The WorkSource Privacy Policy provides additional information regarding categories of personal information collected, purposes of processing, disclosures to service providers, user rights, retention, and contact channels.

11. Policy Updates

WorkSource may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in platform functionality, analytics tools, security controls, payment workflows, verification providers, legal requirements, or business operations. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date and, where appropriate, providing notice through the website, account interface, or other reasonable means.

12. Contact

Questions about this Cookie Policy or WorkSource's use of cookies and similar technologies may be directed to WorkSource Global, Inc. through the contact method provided in the WorkSource Privacy Policy or on the WorkSource website.
