1. Overview
WorkSource Global, Inc. (“WorkSource,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is building a verified hiring marketplace that connects job seekers and employers through structured profiles, job-fit logic, identity verification workflows, employer-side job posts, and application management tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with the WorkSource website, application, employer dashboard, candidate profiles, communications, and related services.
This policy is designed for a U.S.-based marketplace launching this summer, beginning in Charlotte, North Carolina. WorkSource is not currently positioned as a financial institution, insurance provider, healthcare provider, lender, or consumer reporting agency. If WorkSource later offers regulated services, including background check functionality through a third-party provider, this policy and related notices will be updated to reflect those workflows.
2. Scope and Key Definitions

Additional FCRA-compliant notices, authorizations, and adverse-action workflows may apply before any background check is ordered or used. |
| Optional demographic or compliance information | Information a user voluntarily provides or that may be required for legal, compliance, or equal-opportunity reporting purposes. WorkSource does not intend to use protected characteristics as job-matching criteria. |

8. User Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where a user lives and the laws that apply, users may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to processing, opt-out of certain targeted advertising or data sharing, and appeal of certain privacy decisions. WorkSource provides mechanisms for eligible users to submit privacy requests through the contact channels described in this policy.
- Account controls: Users may update certain profile, contact, and account information through the Services where available.
- Communications preferences: Users may opt out of marketing emails by using unsubscribe links, but operational, transactional, security, and account-related messages may still be sent.

- Do Not Sell or Share / targeted advertising: If WorkSource engages in activity that constitutes a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable state law, WorkSource will provide required notices and opt-out choices.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, vendor controls, logging, encryption where appropriate, least-privilege permissions, secure cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response procedures.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and promptly notifying WorkSource of suspected unauthorized access.
10. Children and Minors
The Services are intended for job seekers and employer users who are legally able to use hiring marketplace services. WorkSource does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If WorkSource learns that it collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, it will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
11. Matching, Automation, and AI-Assisted Features
WorkSource may use structured data, rules-based logic, analytics, and AI-assisted features to improve profile completion, job descriptions, candidate-job fit, search, filtering, fraud prevention, and marketplace operations. Matching is intended to be based on job-relevant factors such as location, work history, credentials, qualifications, skills, availability, and employer-defined role requirements.
WorkSource does not intend to use protected characteristics as matching criteria. Employers remain responsible for their own hiring decisions, legal compliance, interview processes, candidate communications, and final employment decisions.
12. International Users and Data Transfers
WorkSource is initially designed for U.S.-based operations. If users access the Services from outside the United States, their information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where WorkSource or its vendors operate. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from the user’s location. WorkSource will update this policy if international operations, cross-border data transfer obligations, or additional frameworks become relevant.
13. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including identity verification providers, payment processors, analytics providers, communications tools, background-check providers, or employer systems. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. WorkSource is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties outside its control.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, vendors, legal obligations, security practices, or business operations. The updated policy will be posted with a new effective date. If changes are material, WorkSource may provide additional notice as required by law or appropriate under the circumstances.
