How does matching work?
You tell WorkSource what's true: job seekers build one verified profile, and employers post a role and set the requirements that actually matter. WorkSource uses that verified information to surface stronger-fit matches before the application starts. The detailed matching logic is proprietary, but the experience is simple, you spend your time on real fits, not noise.
What does "verified" mean?
Identities are verified on both sides, and work history is confirmed rather than self-reported. Verification is built to reduce fake profiles, scam postings, and AI-generated resume spam, so the people and roles you see are real.
Do I have to be in Charlotte?
Not if you are open to remote work. WorkSource is remote-friendly, so if you want remote roles you can join from anywhere in the country. For local, on-site roles we are Charlotte-first and approve people within about an hour of Uptown Charlotte, and we are expanding city by city from there. Either way, you can apply and start building your profile from anywhere.
Why should my profile or job post be complete and accurate?
Job seekers: a complete, truthful profile helps surface the roles where you actually meet the employer's requirements. Employers: clear, specific requirements help WorkSource surface stronger-fit candidates, so you review fewer, better applicants.
